The Product Support Sales Coordinator will be responsible for being the first point of contact for Product Support Sales Inquiries. The incumbent should drive sales in PS and will be responsible for ensuring the customer inquiry is properly dealt with and directed. Technical expertise with Electrical/Pneumatic/Mechanical parts is a must for this individual so that PS can immediately and independently respond to customer inquiries.
MANDATE AND ROLES: MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer customer inquiries and direct inquires/calls as required
Prepare quotations for clients. Ensure that quotations are signed and reviewed by appropriate personnel. Send questions via email and/or courier to clients as required. Maintain accurate sales filed
Assist in production of technical spare parts list for equipment/ Brochure packages/
Maintain customer database on Microsoft Outlook and internal database
Interact with clients and potential clients in person and remotely to propose solutions, have technical discussions, troubleshoot problems, and to generate opportunities for sale parts,
Aide with strategizing long-term goals for PS to maximize revenue/margin.
Help maintaining/reporting the KPIs for the department
Provide live and remote commercial and technical support to Outside Sales Managers and Channel Partners as necessary.
Maintain CRM software
Attend sales meetings, maintain meeting minutes
Follow up on quotations both live and remotely
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (include the following but is not limited to)
Perform PS sales administrative tasks when required.
EDUCATION (INCLUDING: CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS):
College Diploma or equivalent. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology an asset
Ability to read basic things in P & ID diagrams EXPERIENCE:
Experience with technical sales an asset
Excellent Microsoft Suite skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in Microsoft GP an asset, but not required
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
DEGREE OF SUPERVISION:
Reporting directly to the Product Support Manager, the PS Sales Coordinator is responsible for achieving customer service excellence, being fully engaged and committed and effectively communicating with everyone that interacts with this position.
